butter baked chicken
ingredients
- 1/4 c. butter
- 4 to 8 chicken breasts
- 1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk, divided use
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
- 1/4 c. water
prep
- preheat oven to 425°
- melt butter in 9x13 baking dish
cook
- dip chicken in milk, then roll in seasoned flour
- place chicken, skin side down, in butter
- bake 30 minutes
- mix water, remaining milk, and soup together
- turn chicken over and pour soup mixture over it
- bake additional 30 minutes
- remove chicken and stir gravy
